Friends,

When we started InTown Rider back at the beginning of the year, we had intended to fill a need for Southwest Florida's Motorcycling Community. Our mission was to inform those who ride about:

  • Weekly, Monthly, Annual, and Singular Events
  • Riding Groups & Associations
  • Destinations
  • Local People of Interest
  • Great Rides with routes outlined & biker friendly establishments.

Since taking on the task of a monthly magazine dedicated to our community, we have gotten to know quite a few great people and had the opportunity to be involved with several memorable events. Unfortunately, this monthly task has taken its toll on us. The two of us have had to wear several hats in this endeavor and have run out of steam. That, and recent economic trends have threatened the quality we so dearly guard in our publication. We will be placing our October Issue online and calling it quits.

Some people we would like to thank: Billybob of Splittin' the Breeze, thanks for taking a chance with us and helping so much. Tigger of Ronin R/C, thanks for the photos & articles and spreading the word. Turtle, for your ride recaps and consultations. Frankie, for your articles and advice.

Some of the businesses we would like to thank for the faith placed in us: Smokes, Gulf Coast Motorcycles, Wise Choice Biker Gear, South Side Bar & Grill, Leather Lid Inserts, Spokes & Power, Associates & Bruce L. Scheiner, Be Seen Customs, Lani Kai Island Resort, Paradise Tiki Hut, Everglades Motorcycle Service, The Shell Factory & Nature Park, Biker Premium, Czaia & Gallagher, Black Widow HD, and "Purr"formance Motorsports.

We will still be involved and lending our talents to our community. Thanks to all of you who enjoyed what we produced.
